What does Easter mean?

What is evangelisation?

Evangelisation is a journey, an adventure, on which everyone is invited to embark. It is an invitation to encounter Jesus and decide whether or not you want to follow him. The amazing thing is that those who share their faith with others have a double blessing. 1: they see their own faith grow and mature as they share it with others, and 2, they have the delightful experience of seeing others come alive in faith.

‍

Usually evangelisation involves helping people to see how the Holy Spirit is already at work in their lives and inviting them to go deeper. Often this happens in our witness of life, how we talk about our relationship with Jesus and how it makes a difference. Sometimes it is by being brave enough to invite people to an event or course to help them recognise and quench their thirst for God. Essentially, evangelisation is knocking on another person’s heart, hoping they open the door and let God in. If they do, the Holy Spirit helps them encounter Jesus and begin to live life to the full.
