What does Easter mean?

What can I do if I can’t go to Mass because I’m working, ill, vulnerable (medically) or caring for another?

Catholics always encourage people to come at Sunday Mass as it is important to meet regularly together and with God, but we recognise is not always possible for people.

‍

Can you find ways and times to worship with others, which fit with other demands on your time and do not threaten your health. You could go to weekday Mass near where you work or sit in a separate space at church when you come.

‍

Perhaps go to Mass near where you work rather than where you live. If you can’t come in person because of your health, try Mass online.  Parishes do live-stream or upload Mass to the internet for people to access if needed. If you are unwell, ask your priest if someone could bring Communion to you at home. Many parishes provide this if requested.

Material produced in collaboration with the Agency for Evangelisation in the Diocese of Westminster.
